Yr Academi Gymreig currently publishes the literary journal Taliesin.

 Yr Academi Gymreig and Academi published a variety of translations and original literary works in Welsh. Using Gwasg Prifysgol Cymru it published both the Cydymaith i Lenyddiaeth Cymru and The Welsh Academy English-Welsh Dictionary. Through Oxford University Press it published The Oxford Companion to the Literature of Wales. A revised and updated edition of this monumental work has recently been published by the University of Wales Press. The updated Welsh edition was published in 1997, and the updated English edition in 1998.  Academi’s project in co-operation with University of Wales Press/Gwasg Prifysgol Cymru and the BBC resulted in the publication of Gwyddoniadur Cymru /The Encyclopaedia of Wales. Both the English and Welsh versions werepublished simultaneously by the University of Wales Press in 2008.
