OWEN, MEURIG

Farmer, writer and freelance journalist. Born in Towyn, Abergele and educated at Denbigh and Abergele Grammar Schools. Meurig edited the local history magazine Cofio’r Cefn between 1976–96. In 1985, he wrote Hanes Capel Cefnmeiriadog with W. Morgan Davies. Meurig has written features and generated photojournalism for Wales on Sunday, Western Mail and Farming Wales. Between 1986–89, he had a weekly country column and wrote about Arts in North Wales  for the Wales on Sunday. He also produced  regular features for Farming Wales, and in 1995 wrote about Country and Farming in North Wales for the Western Mail.
