Rachel was born in Littleborough, England and grew up on the Hiraethog moors in North Wales. She has recently returned to Wales after living in Rochdale and London, and currently lives in Rhyl with her daughter. Rachel is a primary school teacher and has been writing since she was young. She wrote her first published novel Girl on the Edge in the first few years after giving birth t her daughter. It is inspired by her childhood on the Hiraethog moors. She has now gone part–time with the teaching and is currently writing her second novel. Rachel is a member of Academi.Selected Publications:
