Reviews:
With respect to Winter Lines (Cinnamon Press, 2008):
"…elegant and economic…"
Charles Johnson, Flarestack
"…When the need arises to excise the troubles of a day just gone, this is a book to be reached for and, as with lowering one’s face to a bowl of chilled water, dipped into. Sam Smith, The Journal
With respect to Facsimiles (Cinnamon Press, 2010)
"...Images so finely focused the poems seem painted rather than written..."
Michael Bayley
"...These are spare, icy clear minimalist poems...using imagery and emotion to expand the impact of each poem within the reader's imagination..."
Kevin Bailey

In this debut collection Daniel Healy displays the power of writing that is pared back to the essentials. The poems appear to be fragments, but they resonate long after the page is turned; cool, sharp language that stirs the depths.
