Bridget is part of the current Representing Wales Cohort and is writing her first novel. She has been runner-up in the Rhys Davies Short Story Competition. and her work has published by Cinnamon Press and produced for BBC Radio 4. She has written articles for The Guardian, Planet and Wales Arts Review. She has worked as a writer and theatre make in a wide range of community settings and has extensive experience of working in prisons. Bridget has been Leverhulme Artist in Residence at Swansea University, and has taught creative writing and theatre practice at the University of Birmingham, Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and the University of South Wales. She is the founding Artistic Director of Papertrail Theatre Company, a company that specialises in developing new plays from rarely heard voices.
