I’m Candice Black, a visual artist & writer from South Wales, UK. As a mixed-race, disabled, Welsh, female: my creative work has been a lifeline through challenging experiences. I explore trauma and somatic themes, drawing on my own experiences and taking influence from others. I believe in creativity, empowerment, and the human spirit. I do what I do because creativity benefits the individual, groups, and wider society.
